Vitatech was hired to assess the magnetic field impact from the primary electrical equipment located in the Lower Level Main Electrical Room located below a new three bay MRI suite with a susceptibility threshold of 5.0 mG RMS for 60Hz. Using magnetic field generating software, Vitatech produced source modeling of the main electrical room transformers and distribution switchgear to predict the magnetic field environment within the building once constructed and under sufficient electrical load.
