University of Missouri NextGen

The NextGen facility is a hub for cutting-edge research in immunology, neuroscience, reproductive health, biomaterial engineering, and Cryogenic electron microscopy imaging. Our team delivered expert EMI design-build services for 10 advanced EM and CryoEM instruments, enabling groundbreaking work in genetics, cancer, infectious disease, and neurodegenerative research.

Equipped with a diverse range of Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs) and Cryo Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEMs), the facility integrates customized Stefan Mayer Instruments frames and room-mounted ACS systems. These systems are engineered to minimize ambient harmonic and near-DC noise at each instrument column, ensuring optimal performance and data accuracy.
