VitaTech Engineering believes in full disclosure and transparency. VitaTech Engineering is a Professional Engineering Woman Business Enterprise Limited Liability company in the Commonwealth of Virginia. VitaTech Engineering was formed in 1988 and incorporated as a limited liability company in the Commonwealth of Virginia in June 1999. Our small business banking account has been with the same financial institution since 1988 and we have annual Financial Statements prepared by a Certified Public Accountant.

VitaTech has a Professional Engineer on staff that is licensed in the following states: VA, MD, CA, FL, & NY (pending). VitaTech was awarded a contract with the Government Services Association (GSA) in 2002 for our Professional Engineering Services and became a member of the Better Business Bureau in 2008. VitaTech Engineering is compliant with all state contractor license requirements and is a Class A General Contractor in Virginia.

VitaTech Engineering maintains Professional Liability (Errors and Omissions) coverage, General Liability and Worker’s Compensation insurance coverage and is bondable for payment, performance and bid bonds. VitaTech is committed to the safety and well-being of it’s employees, clients, vendors/suppliers, fellow tradesmen and the general public. Senior management is responsible for the support and management of safety, health and risk management and all onsite construction managers are skilled in their project responsibilites and hold either OSHA 30 Hour or 10 Hour Construction Certification.

VitaTech Engineering was founded in December 1984 by Mr. Louis Vitale, BSEE as a biomedical research & development company in Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Vitale developed a portable, inexpensive, microprocessor controlled electrocardiograph (ECG) monitor called the VitaScope for the home health industry. A clinical prototype was completed in April 1986 and demonstrated to the Texas Heart cardiology group. After the project was completed the Company moved to Northern Virginia.

Historical:
In April 1988 VitaTech Engineering, LLC resumed business as a specialized audio, video, computer graphics, and communication systems engineering company experienced in the design and installation of large-scale integrated military command/decision support centers, multi-media systems, broadcast television, and video teleconferencing systems.

In 1993, VitaTech established a new engineering service: Electromagnetic field (EMF) services including surveys and measurements, exposure and risk assessment, electromagnetic interference (EMI)/radio frequency interference (RFI) detection, shielding and cancellation.
